Marty sends NFL research cards by email, and soon by text. This page says what we keep about you to do that, who else touches it, and how to get it deleted. Short version: we keep what we need to send you cards, and we don't sell it.
What we collect
- The email address or mobile number you sign up with.
- Your consent: the exact words shown when you signed up, when, the IP address and browser it came from, and that you confirmed you're 21 or older.
- Where you signed up (the home page, a shared card) and whether you asked to hear about Pro.
- Your status: waiting to confirm, active, on the text waitlist, or unsubscribed, and when each changed.
- Which cards we sent you, and whether the send went through.
We don't ask for your name, location, or anything about your betting, and we don't use ad trackers. The site doesn't set cookies for advertising.
How we use it
- To send the cards you signed up for, and the confirmation that starts them.
- To honor an unsubscribe or STOP right away and keep it that way.
- To show we had your consent, if anyone asks.
- When Pro opens, to tell people who asked to hear about it.
Who else handles it
We use a few services to run Marty. They handle your data only to do that job for us:
- Vercel hosts the site.
- Neon stores the subscriber list.
- Resend delivers the emails.
- Stripe handles Pro payments. Your card number goes to Stripe, never to us; we keep your Stripe customer ID and whether Pro is on.
- When texts start, the provider that sends them will get your number, and we'll name it here first.
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share your number or consent with anyone for their own marketing. We'd share it only if the law required it.
How long we keep it
While you're subscribed, and after you unsubscribe for as long as we need to keep you unsubscribed and to show the consent we had. Ask us and we'll delete it, except the minimum needed to make sure you're never messaged again.
Your choices
- Every email has an unsubscribe link that works in one tap.
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, HELP for help.
- To see what we have on you, fix it, or delete it, email hello@martybets.com from the address you signed up with.
Age
Marty is for people 21 and older. We don't knowingly keep anyone younger; if we learn we have, we delete it.
Changes
If this changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell subscribers in the next card.
